Blagg’s Food Service is a  private contractor to agencies such as the National Interagency Fire Center and the California Department of Forestry. We are based in Bella Vista, California. We supply hot meals and bagged lunches to forest fire personnel in fire camps in the Western states that are set up for firefighters and other personnel while away from home.

 We are accepting applications for several types of employees:

  1. Truck drivers with a commercial drivers license

   2. Employees to travel with and staff our mobile kitchen support unit in fire camps

   3. Personnel who are interested in bagged lunch production at our warehouse in Bella Vista, California.  

This is a seasonal position. The hiring season begins in May and lasts through November, with July, August and September being the busiest months. Hiring assignments can last anywhere from 3 – 4 days to 3 to 4 months.

The employees we are looking for are:

  1.      Flexible in both availability and attitude
  2.     Able to travel on short notice, and be gone from home for up to several weeks at a time
  3.     Capable of working shifts of 12 hours or more
  4.     Energetic and in good health
  5.     Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
  6.     Adaptable and team players
  7.     and, most importantly, have a desire to exceed expectations of the agencies and companies who hire us!
